Does Stem Cell Therapy Cream Work As Suggested?

Every time a product comes onto the market that uses new technology, there are always skeptics that wonder if it really works or not. That has been the case for many people with the new anti-aging skin care products that are said to use stem cells. Actually, what is being used in the products as of now are extracts that are taken from plant stem cells like a particular variety of swiss apple. Women take their skin care products very seriously for the most part and they want to know whether or not they will be wasting their money on these new stem cell skin cream products.

So far, the studies that have been conducted, especially in Swiss labs, do show that there is very great potential in using plant stem cells for anti-aging. Research has already proven that using plant stem cell extracts to stimulate a person's own skin cells does speed up the rate at which new skin cells come to the surface in older skin. You have to understand how aging skin rejuvenation slows down over the years to grasp how using stem cell extracts can work.

What keeps skin young looking with that healthy luminescent glow and wrinkle free surface is the fact that as dead skin cells coat the top layer of the epidermis, (the skin that you see), underneath in the other layers of skin, skin cells are hard at work to reach the top and replace the old dead cells. When we are young, it can take newer, healthier skin cells about 28 -30 days to get up top. By the time we have reached the age of about 60 or less, it can take our skin cells about 45 -60 days to reach the top. That is almost twice as long as it was when we were longer! This is why skin becomes faded and dull looking. The old skin cells are on the top layer longer before they are replaced with younger cells.

When it comes to wrinkles and lines on the skin, the reason for this is a reduction in the production of collagen and elastin. Both of these form naturally in the skin and are the main ingredients to keep skin resilient and firm. As we age, the body does not produce elastin and collagen as quickly and this is why wrinkles form more easily. Less collagen and elastin in the skin means it has less ability to “snap back” into place. Things like frowning and smiling can begin to leave permanent indentures in the skin, we call them fine lines and wrinkles. If you can get more collagen and elastin to form, the skin will act much in the same way as it did when it was younger.

Many skin care products use topical creams that contain collagen and while these creams can be somewhat helpful, it is not the same as the body producing it's own collagen and elastin naturally in the skin. This is where plant stem cells can make a real difference for aging skin. Studies have shown that even the stem cell extract can prompt the human skin cells to turn over faster and helps speed up the production of the body's own collagen and elastin. Stem cell therapies on the skin have shown that it helps the skin to repair and replenish itself! It is not just applying a topical cream to the surface of the skin to make it look better, but is actually making the skin work better on a cellular level to rejuvenate itself.

So, in answer to the all important question, “Does Stem Cell Cream Really Work”, it certainly can. Which plant stem cell cream you should buy is another question. As with all skin care products, they are not always made the same way and can have different amounts of key ingredients that make some products perform and give better results than others.
